Elite Mobile company was founded in the year 2014. It is a Bangladesh based company. The products are designed and developed in Bangladesh and then assembled or manufactured in China. Elite mobile focuses on the low price mobile consumers in Bangladesh. Their first flagship phone Elite Evo Air costs under BDT 15K. Other early released phones are priced less than Evo Air.

Philosophy and Market Strategy

Elite believes in the philosophy of customer satisfaction where the motto is “Technology needs to fit with its owner and not the other way around”. This philosophy so far reflects in their phone features and price as the majority of the consumers in Bangladesh at this stage are looking for some core features such as 3G network for fine internet speed, android OS for cool games and apps, reasonably good quality primary cam for mobile photography, front camera option for selfies and video calling, dual SIM option, reasonable RAM and ROM for satisfactory multitasking and internal storage space. These features are more or less balanced in their phones so far.

However, there is a growing demand for higher battery backup therefore, many brands are using fast charging technology or different power saving options. If Elite can develop this feature in their upcoming devices, they can gain much more popularity so far our market analysis in concerned. Then comes offering new and innovative features such as OTG, USB type-c, fingerprint sensor, dual-tone flash, strong display protection cover, waterproof body, elegant design, more valuable and strong material than plastic (such as aluminium or other metal) etc. So far, Elite has presented some of these technologies in their flagship Evo Air. If they can offer more of these technologies in a relatively low price in more devices, it would have much better chance to stand out in the crowd.

There was a time when once could say that the top competitors in low price smartphone market are Symphony and Walton, two Bangladesh based company. This is not the case anymore. Worldwide top reliable brands such as Samsung, Huawei, HTC, LG, Microsoft etc. are now also releasing low to low-mid priced phones for developing countries especially south Asia. Then more strong brands such as Lava, MyCell and Maximus has been able to establish their presence in minimum budget smartphone consumers in Bangladesh. Therefore, Elite is going to need a great level of professionalism is their service, analysis, offers and technology to become one of the top.
