WE Mobile started its professional journey in Bangladesh in the year 2017. It is a Bangladesh based company and a sister concern of Aamra Companies. Aamra is a group of companies that are running businesses in IT, textile, outsourcing and professional development sector. As an expansion of their IT business, they started WE mobile brand in Bangladesh.

WE Mobile primarily targets the low and low-mid budget consumers. Their phones are manufactured in China and are currently sold only in Bangladesh. They have already established a good amount of brand stores and retail outlets all around the country. The brand came to great public attention after releasing WE T1 through Grameenphone. WE T1 is a 4G smartphone with decent features and costs 4,444 Tk. at its releasing time in February 2017.

In the past few years’, many new smartphone brands were born but went out of operation or couldn’t continue regular business because of the nature of this competitive market. If WE can continue growing its business and customers until the end of 2020, they may have a strong future in Bangladeshi mobile market.
