Nokia used to be the most popular brand since the birth of mobile phones in Bangladesh and there are certain reasons behind it. It was able to win the heart of millions of people with its very affordable price, simple design or simplistic approach and amazing features. Not just in Bangladesh, if you look to the history, most top selling phones in the world are from this brand. Nokia 1110, 1200, N8, 2600, E71, 6610 are some of the stunning devices from this classy make. Nokia is covering a wide range of smartphones with very different kind of specifications and facilities.

What is the most interesting fact about Nokia? It is hard to name one. longer Battery life, high quality sound, simple design will be few best factors. Android dominated Nokia and Lumia phones the whole time. Even the Nokia X family couldn’t make much difference. So, after finishing the contract with Microsoft, in mid 2017, Nokia introduced 3 android phones Nokia 3, 5 and 6 along with a feature phone Nokia 3310 (2017 version). With these phones, Nokia came to the market in a more individualistic nature, combined with popular android OS. The price in Bangladesh for these Nokia phones are also very competitive. This intelligent decision surely helped them stand out in the crowd.

At the end of 2014, the brand Nokia officially became Microsoft Mobile (as Microsoft corporation already bought the company Nokia) and started to produce smartphones under the name “Microsoft Lumia”. However, as part of the deal Microsoft can keep the patent of Nokia till the end of 2015. After this time period, Nokia may start producing its own smartphones again. Nokia officially announced their new phones in February 2017.
